Print advertising in referred i.e. professional journals in 2012 was $610 MM. Xarelto and other anticoagulants were the 2nd most advertised. There were between 1,900 and 2,000 pages of xarelto ads printed in 2012.
In 2008 there were 800MM in ads. It shrunk due to the recession and slowly increased each year until 2011 (700MM) then shrunk in 2012.
